Well it’s that time of year again, cozying up by the fire, drinking hot chocolate and watching Christmas films with loved ones.
I have to say Christmas is my most favourite time of the year, and this year will be my first Christmas in my new house (Totes Excited).
I cannot wait to decorate it, but as I plan all my festive decorations (I want to give Santa’s Grotto a run for it’s money) I realise just how expensive Christmas can be, your tree, decorations, lights,garlands, wreathes, presents, new clothes and your big food shop, it all adds up so I’ve been trying my best to find my Christmas bargains.
There are two shops that have bee a life saver for me,
No 1. Penneys, not only are their decorations fab but they are sooooo reasonable, my entire tree will be mostly Penney’s decorations (I’ll do a tree post soon), I’ve also bought a lot of Christmas nik naks like these two Christmas mugs, one Santa and one Reindeer, only €2.50 each you cannot go wrong.
No 2. Homestore & more, half price Christmas lights, OMG an absolute Godsend, they have this offer every December I purchased 3 boxes of 200 white LED lights for €17.50 each, that’s a saving of €52.50 and I did check all other shops, B&Q, woodies etc. and no where came even close, they also have half price Christmas candles which are great as presents.
